It all starts with the forbidden glance and this in turn leads to becoming the stepping stones of adultery and fornication. Take heed from these following quotes on the importance of lowering one’s gaze.
A poet of ancient times has said:

Another noteworthy quote:

as-salam alaykum, lowering the gaze is a veritable conduct in islam, its benfitts cannot be over emphasised. Only those who make use of it can bear witness to this, Islam in contrast to other religions requires submission which is the only means by which the heart can be illuminated with more faith. I implore muslims to live a life of total submission. may Allah assist us all
